About Us

Passport Ministries was founded and incorporated in February 2006 by Rev. Robert L. Bailey Jr. and his wife Darlene.  PPM is a recognized 501c3 not for profit.

PPM exist solely for the purpose of Glorifying our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through bringing as many people into a personal relationship with Him in the shortest amount of time possible.

PPM is completely funded through support partners and fundraising activities

PPM has a board of directors that help guide the path of the ministry.  This board is made up of pastors, past and present full-time overseas missionaries, business owners and professionals from several walks of life.  Their life experiences and input is vital to the continued success of this ministry.

Originally PPM was established to bring Jesus glory through teaching, training, and taking people in local churches.

Teaching:  Telling others what the Bible says about missions through pulpit teaching, classes, and or seminars and conferences.

Training:  Putting together groups of people who are interested in following the commands of Christ to go into all the world, and preparing them to take the next step of actually going.

Taking:  Providing logistics and leadership in taking groups of believers on short-term trips to minister along side of one of our ministry partners overseas.

In 2011, PPM felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit to step outside of its box and fill a void in the modern missions picture.  To that end PPM is positioning itself to be a service agency for full-time on field missionaries who want to avoid the growing issues that are becoming more prevalent in the agencies involved with doing world missions in the United States.

In that capacity PPM will screen candidates, and once a partnership agreement is made, PPM will set up accounts to process any or all of the missionaries support funds and provide tax receipts for the donors.

PPM service does not stop there.  PPM will also:

· Provide logistical help at home

· Provide mailing services in the United States

· Promote the on-field missionary and their work to churches and or small groups as needed.

· Provide teaching, training, and taking for short-term teams to minister in the field.

· Be an at home voice for the missionary and their work.

· Build personal relationships with our partner missionaries in order to provide personal, spiritual, and business support and encouragement.

· Regular prayer support and contact.

This of course is just a brief outline of what PPM does and where and how PPM comes from.  If you have questions or concerns that you would like to have answered about PPM, please contact us and ask.
